Warren Fielding is
the main character of 'The Object of My Obsession'. Warren is a coffee clerk at Maestros and former
lead singer of the brit pop revival band 'The Leisure Pigs'. His obsession is with
Gretchen Kellerman, a sexy workaholic vixen.
Warren meets Gretchen early on in the story when she walks into the
coffee shop and orders a cup of Chai. The two start hanging around together and it puts
Warren in a blocked artist position.
Many friends have encouraged Warren to pursue a
solo career but Warren doesn't feel
that he has what it takes to do that. Deep down that is what he wants but his self doubt and
obsession with Gretchen interfere with his dreams coming true.
